Acceptable Use Policy

Rules for lawful, authorized, and responsible use of Quagix products and services.

5.1 Authorized Use Required

You may use Quagix products only with systems, websites, applications, APIs, networks, data, and environments that you own, control, or are authorized to access or test.

You must not use Quagix Services to test, scan, access, automate, or generate traffic against third-party systems without permission.

5.2 Prohibited Activities

  • Unauthorized security testing, exploitation, or access.
  • Hacking, attack, disruption, overload, or system damage.
  • Denial-of-service against unauthorized targets.
  • Credential, token, key, secret, cookie, session, or private data theft.
  • Bypassing authentication, authorization, rate limits, paywalls, or access controls.
  • Malware distribution or harmful code execution.
  • Unlawful scraping, crawling, or data harvesting.
  • Impersonation or legal/contract/privacy/IP violations.
  • Scripts for harm, evasion, abuse, or unauthorized access.
  • Reverse engineering, resale, or platform misuse.
  • Interference with service integrity, billing, quotas, or monitoring.

5.3 Product-Specific Rules

Additional rules apply to product-specific usage.

5.3.1 TestFabric and Automata

Generated scripts must be reviewed before use.

You must not run generated automation against unauthorized applications or environments.

5.3.2 Validox

You must not test APIs, submit request bodies, use headers, or process responses unless authorized.

You must not submit stolen credentials, third-party tokens, private customer data, or confidential API payloads without authorization.

5.3.3 LoadVertex

LoadVertex must be used only for authorized performance test planning or artifact generation.

You must not use LoadVertex-generated artifacts to overload, degrade, or attack systems without permission.

5.4 Sensitive Data and Secrets

Avoid submitting passwords, secret keys, private tokens, regulated personal data, confidential customer data, or production credentials unless necessary and authorized.

Data Protection and External Processing

You must not submit personal data, regulated data, confidential data, production credentials, API secrets, customer records, employee records, third-party data, or production-like logs unless you are authorized to do so and your use complies with applicable laws, contracts, internal policies, and privacy or data protection obligations.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Services complies with applicable privacy and data protection laws, including the GDPR, India DPDP law, and other laws that may apply to your organization, customers, employees, users, or projects.

Where possible, you should anonymize, mask, minimize, redact, or use synthetic test data before submitting information to the Services, especially when using AI-assisted features or features that may involve third-party processing.

You must not use the Services to bypass privacy, confidentiality, contractual, security, or data protection obligations that apply to you or your organization.

5.5 Abuse Detection and Enforcement

Quagix may monitor usage for abuse, security, billing, reliability, and policy enforcement.

If usage violates this policy or creates risk, Quagix may block operations, limit usage, suspend or terminate accounts, remove or restrict content, revoke access or credits, notify authorities where legally required, and take other appropriate action.

5.6 Reporting Abuse

To report misuse of Quagix Services, include a clear summary and supporting details.
